This enduring activity includes a discussion of systemic diseases which predispose to visceral artery aneurysms with emphasis on factors affecting endovascular procedures and outcomes. Best methods of imaging and indications for treatment are discussed as well as complicating factors and disease processes.

This program is designed to meet the educational needs of interventional radiologists and other physicians at all levels with special interest in visceral artery aneurysms.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this enduring activity, participants should be able to:

• Identify patients who will benefit from endovascular treatment of complex visceral artery aneurysms based on size and disease state
• Identify patients with complex visceral aneurysms where conservative or open treatment will have better outcomes for the patient and the IR’s reputation
• Discuss optimal methods of imaging patients with complex visceral aneurysms
• Discuss the impact of diseases such as Ehlers Danlos, Marfans and pancreatitis on the natural history of vascular aneurysms and their treatment
